“Parker” is an 8 year old quarter horse gelding. He is tall and full of color! Currently standing at 15.3 HH.
He is the type everybody wants: incredibly reliable, sweet, well built, movie star looks, and QUIET.
We have used him around our place for everything from pony rides to moving longhorns! At that ideal size of 15.3 THIS is the guy to choose if SAFE and QUIET are some of your largest requirements, and you want a gentle giant to do it. It is just a plus that “gorgeous” falls right along side him. I’d trust just about anyone on his back who can hold a set of reins
Tarps, ropes, cattle, tractors, cars, wildlife – none of it impacts this guy. He is a trail horse ++ – we ride him out alone, and is great with steep slopes, rocks, brush, rivers, and on our dirt road.
He is the type that will go where you point him. He rides inside an arena or out in the backfield. He is the same – Every. Single. Time.
He is incredibly low maintenance – now living on pasture 24/7. The most high maintenance thing about him is keeping that mane in some braids – and possibly keeping an extra bottle of conditioner handy. He hauls well, bathes well, and stands good for the farrier. He is the horse you throw your guests on to follow you around the farm, and the same horse you saddle up for yourself and simply enjoy every day.
